Pale Waves drops debut album, "My Mind Makes Noises" After releasing four singles, Manchester-native Pale Waves released their highly-anticipated debut album, My Mind Makes Noises. Released through Dirty Hit on Sept. 14, the album carries the listener through 14 tracks on muddling through the space where youth and experience overlap and unraveling romance. Their sweeping, '80s-synth sound gives off endless summer vibes while also grazing darker themes ("Eighteen," "Karl (I Wonder What It's Like To Die") But that's not all for Pale Waves. They revealed on an interview with Apple Music’s Beats 1 that they're already planning to release a "more extreme" EP which will house songs that didn't make the cut for My Mind Makes Noises. Three years ago, Paramore was unstoppable. "Still Into You" and "Ain't It Fun" were everywhere, and I couldn't be happier about it. 2015 was their year and Self-Titled era came to an end with Parahoy II, two powerhouse tours including a summer stint co-headlining with Fall Out Boy, and a Grammy to crown it.
