Kim Petras brings the bubblegum back to pop

On a vaporwave-inspired stage surrounded by pink-washed Roman columns, Kim Petras brought her patent brand of sweet electro-pop to The Sinclair.  This sold out stop of the Broken Tour in Cambridge, Mass., had fans packed wall to wall to see Petras at her first-ever headlining North American tour. The pop starlet’s last stop in Boston was as the support for Troye Sivan’s Bloom Tour in October 2018. Kaleido rocks Providence, drops new single

All in one day: a brand new single and never-before-seen photos of Kaleido. Providence hard rock fans were treated to a hell of a show on Thursday night. Opening for September Mourning, Detroit-native Kaleido packed the Fete Music Hall for an explosive performance. Playing just three songs familiar to fans, much of their set hinged on brand new material they were eager to share. In fact, their brand new track, "My Enemy" dropped today. Vocalist Christina Chriss shared that  this cathartic song was sparked by her absolute rock bottom, a moment in which she thought she was going to die. However, after six years together and with even more new material on the way, Kaleido aren't going anywhere but on the road. CONCERT: Evanescence & Lindsey Stirling, all “Hi”s and no “Lo”s

BANSHEE ZINE exists because of our love for live music. We are proud to present Evanescence and Lindsey Stirling as our first-ever live music coverage. Evanescence hit the road this summer with co-headliner Lindsey Stirling to support their latest album, Synthesis, which features reimagined versions of their older songs. On July 18, Lindsey Stirling took the opening slot of the tour at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA. Stirling's silhouette was enough to have the venue exploding into cheers. Against the backdrop of a film covering her journey from a talent show and YouTube presence to a global phenomenon through the trials and tribulations that are attached to success, Lindsey came high-kicking her way into the evening. Her set was a spectacle replete with costume changes, high-kicks, pseudo magic tricks, and, of course, stunning music.
