Lynn Gunn teases new PVRIS music, confirms new album is complete

The new year has been off to a promising start: My Chemical Romance is back and teasing new content, a new project from Paramore’s Hayley Williams is imminent, and now PVRIS ‘ third album is complete.

In a livestreamed video, frontwoman Lynn Gunn confirms the album has been completed. No details about the name or when the album is due have been released but Rocksound reported in 2019 that a full-length album is slated for an early 2020 release.

PVRIS has been teasing new music since last year when they dropped their five-track EP, Hallucinations.

On Jan. 15, Gunn gave her followers a taste of what is to come in 2020. In an Instagram live video, she played a minute-long clip of an as-of-yet untitled track. You can listen to the clip below by skipping ahead to the 5:30 mark.

The song follows in the vein of Hallucinations with synth-heavy instrumentals and a melancholic but pop-forward sound.
